In the late 1980s, a group of Kenyans in the USA reignited an old high school rivalry between Changes and Patch as a way to stay connected to home. What started as casual games soon grew into something bigger, as more Kenyans in the diaspora wanted to join and share their love of rugby. By the early 2000s, the Kenya Exiles Sevens was born, bringing together players and fans from all over to celebrate the game they cherished.
